About TakeAim

Since 2011

TakeAim Cycling was born out of my professional racing journey. After racing full time, traveling the world and working with riders on the side I saw a real need for skills focused coaching. There were plenty of coaches offering fitness training plans but none were seriously digging into the art of teaching skills.

In 2011 I took my first certification course (MBIT) in British Columbia, not because I wasn't a good rider but because I understood that teaching was a different skill and I also wanted to see and hear what other's who had been doing it longer had to say. That investment in my professional development showed me a level of study I had no idea existed. Since then I've trained through BICP, PMBIA and now I certify coaches for GSMBC

TakeAim has expanded greatly from the years of driving 40,000 miles a year to provide skills clinics at festivals. We run all the MTB programming at Bryce Bike Park, run two youth gravity teams, put on 5+ community gravity races, and hold a women's weekend. We're ever expanding our offerings while keeping our coaching standards high.

I'm proud to offer personalized coaching to individuals and groups throughout the region.
